Reese Lansangan is a working pottery studio. The shelf changes with every firing: wheel-thrown mugs, speckled glaze bowls, slab-built serving plates, planters, and one-off sculptural pieces. Each listing carries the clay body, glaze family, approximate dimensions, food-safe finish, and firing type, so you know what leaves the studio before it ships.

From the studio shelf
A short list of what tends to leave the shelf first. Each one carries the same notes as the full catalog: clay body, glaze family, rough size, and firing type.
Restocks follow the kiln, not a schedule. When a run is gone, it stays gone until the next opening.
Thrown from a warm stoneware body, trimmed at the foot, dipped in the oat speckle glaze. The glaze breaks over the rim, so the speckle lands differently on every cup.
Slab-built instead of thrown, which leaves a soft hand-formed curve and a rim that never repeats. Matte clay-brown slip outside, deep teal pooling inside.
Three small planters that landed on the seconds shelf after a glaze run, a slight warp, or a kiln kiss. Cosmetic only, and photographed so you can judge each one.

How the shelf works
Every piece leaves the shelf with the same paperwork: clay body, glaze family, rough dimensions, food-safe finish, and firing type. What changes is how much of the run you take and how it reaches you. Three routes cover most orders, from a single mug to a matched set.
One mug, one bowl, one planter. Best when you already know the shape you want and just need it in hand.
Two to six pieces from the same firing, so glaze tone and rim height actually match on the table.
Pieces with a glaze run, slight warp, or kiln kiss. Cosmetic only, documented in the photos before you commit.
Runs are small and restocked on irregular kiln cycles, so a listing that sold out may not return in the same glaze. If you are sourcing for a shop or a full dinnerware set, the trade route starts on the contact page.
